Origami

I teach origami to kids.The frail models I take there are getting wrecked.There a way to harden/perseve them?

They are fairly large (but not life sized large) to extremely small models and the kids are facinated with them. So inevetably they get handles a lot more than they should. I kno this is sort of against the art of origami but i wouldn't do it if my delacate and complicated models were not in danger of being destroyed. Is there some sort of solution that could be used to harden them or something without distroying the paper. Need an answer quick if anyone can provide one. Thanks!!! ;}

  1. You might try coating them with a clear-drying decoupage compound like Mod Podge or something similar. It would stiffen the paper without damage.
